Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn founded Norm Architects in 2008 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Danish architects both attended the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts resulting in similar aesthetics yet have personal approaches to architecture and design. Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen is passionate about the design’s aesthetic--specifically tactility and shape, while Kasper Rønn is focused on the technical aspect. Norm Architects highlights the pairs differences and has created a balanced design style; this can be seen in their lighting fixtures, dinnerware, and kitchenware products.
