Sofie Refer

Sofie Refer, born in 1974, is a Danish designer and graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2003. Sofie Refer finds inspiration and passion in light and bases her lighting designs on the importance of light. The Scandinavian designer creates lighting products that embody a sense of simplicity while remaining lavish. Sofie Refer won the Good Design Award (2001) for Bulb. Bulb is her feminine and elegant, yet innovative, take on a traditional glass light bulb.
