On April 2, 2014, Hans J. Wegner would have celebrated his 100th birthday. To mark the occasion, Carl Hansen & Søn has released new versions of four iconic designs. Each new piece features spotlights Wegner's extraordinary understanding of wood.

While Wegner's original compositions often combined teak and oak or beech, Carl Hansen & Son has opted for a mix of oak and walnut. The combination of light and dark wood creates a harmonious contrast, which can be seen in each of the three chairs and the CH327 table.
